  • Notes From The Pastor's Desk.

    For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Romans 8:5
        The Holy Spirit put this on my heart to share. Take a good look around you, and you will see trouble on every corner. People from all walks of life are living in hard times and the church, as we know it today, is weak in offering real godly guidance that would bring about real change. This is sad to say but those who say they believe in God can be seen within the trouble.
    The Spirit of God wants to move in Reedy River, and we know that it is the Will of God that all should come to know Him. You and I have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Our spirits should be in tune with the word of God to do His Will.
        But there is a problem! A problem that is keeping people away from growth. I strongly believe that it is the "Lack of - - Commitment within the body of Christ." Luke 10:2; Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: (talking about believers) pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
        But this is the kicker; very few are willing to do what it takes to make that change. JESUS IS THE ANSWER FOR THE WORLD TODAY! The challenge that is set before us today; is that we who are or have been redeemed must: "Walk in the Spirit of God and Repent."
